2021年12月14日（火）、国際コミュニケーション学部主催のスピーチコンテストを開催いたしました。英語部門8名が本選に出場しました。
このスピーチコンテストは、英語で学生が皆に訴えかけたいメッセージや主張を伝え、その内容や表現力について競い合うものです。

①最優秀賞：I have taken the challenge of joining the speech contest since I was a freshman and finally, I won the first prize. This win was a huge and positive experience for me because I missed many chances to take challenges during the long time of the COVID-19 pandemic. I was very nervous to show myself in front of many people, but I believe that I could overcome this feeling by practicing again and again. Thus, I received the trophy and gained confidence now.

This year’s speech contest was a pleasure to be a part of. The contestants worked hard to write speeches on challenging topics. The ideas they shared with us all were deep, and they taught me and the audience members many things. I am proud of everyone’s efforts to be a part of this special event.
